Slightly off topic but totally relevant. After the 3 last US men you know why Jason and Jimmy both 30 or above are still relevant it is because no other US man, outside of Ilia of course,has proven they can step in a competition in meaningful way.

Men are always hopeless to predict, but I knew one thing, that Gogolev wouldn't be in my top 5 because he is coming back from injury and it takes time.
So far, while most of the men are hop-less, Gogolev delivered a clean program and he might podium!!

He might but I hope not because I want to see top skating from the last six skaters
