2025 JGP Ankara Pairs Short Program

Jarmoc has such a pretty dress! I try not to complain too much about music because normally it doesn't bother me that much but this cut I just did not like. This team stood out to me at us nationals last season and they are really fun together. Good job!

Polina is brave! Elbowing de Niro in the face! I wouldn't take that chance!

No need to blame him. You're still best of the rest behind the Canadians.

Actually, I loved her reaction after she accidentally hit him after getting their scores.

You can see this team is fresh out of novice. At least they enjoyed their music and program. They were working hard out there, but this is the beginning for them. They will not score that great but they will learn a lot here. They did show determination and should go home feeling pleased with this early effort.

Another of my baby teams (that I only unofficially adopted). They look so grown now compared to Novice nationals two seasons ago. Unusual error on the 2A, but otherwise a very solid skate. Great score for them.

She is really fun and he is a great sport.

Oh, I just realised that the last partnership were American. I assumed they were Polish, because they both have Polish names. (In fact, I thought the guy was yet another brother of Kornel Witkowski).

@Karoltyna - you were lamenting the lack of success in Polish Pairs in the past 20 years. Get your Fed to chase after this partnership! They look promising!

Kornel has 2 brothers, they also skate/skates in singles :D Witkowski is very popular name, for now I'm hoping for Siudek Jr. reconsidering...

Yeah, I knew there were three Witkowski borthers that skated, but I was starting to wonder if this was a fourth that I hadn't heard about. :p

As for Ryszard, he's certainly got the genes for Pairs. But, right now, I think he needs to develop his craft more in Singles.

He can always try following in his parents' footsteps when he is a bit older and more experienced.
