Thank you for the explanation. I'm a bit confused now though. There is a disambiguation page on wikipedia where a transliteration for these kanji is given as Oka?! Is this wrong?That's cherry blossom/flower, 櫻 means cherry tree and 花 means flower/blossom. In Japanese kanji 桜 is more widely used but it means the same thing. Japanese reading can be insane because you never know which yomi(way of reading) you're gonna get but 櫻花 I'd read as sakura-hana, literally cherry flower
