A good skate from Nayeon, despite the fall. She has lovely soft knees on her jump landings, and gets nice height on her lutz. I liked the twizzle exit of the 3S. Beautiful Ina Bauer in the passage between the fly ch combo spin and solo 3F, and another one, held, in her choreo sequence. Her spins are fantastic as well.

Hmm, the TES dropped a bit, but okay score. We'll see how the others fare.

When I turned it on, the Zamboni was just heading towards the gate to go off the ice.
I'm back, but only briefly to watch my second kid.

Beautiful jump from Vasilisa as soon as the camera started focussing on her.
Then she circled around and did another, before the camera left her.
Next time they showed her, she did a series of jumps in sequence. All beautifully.
Didn't actually see her much after that. Except for one time in the background of the show when she was sliding along the ice on her backside.
But, now it's time for her to do the business.

Vasilisa delivers a nice 2A after a rocky start with the first three jumping passes, and a good ch combo spin. Gutsy of her to keep going for the triples, though. A great cantilever in the choreo sequence, and her backward arabesque jump (what is the name for it?) has a lot of spring. She has a lovely Biellmann position as well.

I've got a severe thunder storm watch that's in effect until 8pm tonight.Severe weather alert this afternoon.. heavy rain, high winds, possible hail but still sunny now. Hoping Women finish before it happens

Unlike the SP, I haven't seen this FS before.
Wearing a jumpsuit where the top half was white and the bottom half was black.
Strange starting position.
Fall on Double Flip
Fall on Triple Lutz
Jusst about landed second part of combination jump
Double Axel beautiful
And so was the Combination Spin
Not great landing on Triple Salchow
Fall on Triple Loop
Combination jump beautiful.
All spins after that beautiful.
What a mixed bag. The things that were good were beautiful. And the things that weren't good were disasterous.
She's being philosophical about it.
She goes into 11th position.
It just wasn't her day. But, she made everybody take notice yesterday. So for that:

It annoys me when people do programs with the songs out of show order.

I love Chicago programs, I'm just not sure I'd give it to a junior. There was entirely too much shoulder shimmying in this program for a fifteen-year-old imo.
