2025 JGP Varese Women's Short Program

I am really hating these unders - I hate to see skaters lose marks on solid looking jumps based on an inch of rotation. I'd rather see a skater get credit for flow and glide on landins than claw themselves to that extra inch with scratchy landings.
You could see though when she was finishing rotation on ice in slow replay and loop was visibly on a lean. Imo, PCSs didn't need to dip into 5s with what she already handed them, but eh. Jumps weren't there.

Diana Alexandra delivering drama from the start with her direct gaze and swooshing arms and toe pick turn. Nice transitional sequence of spread eagle-2A-falling leaf-then I forget the transition (oops)-flying sit spin. I enjoyed her step sequence - she attacks it with such vigour throughout. She demonstrates great flexibility in her final two spins. She's an exciting young skater, I'm looking forward to seeing her in the free.

So sad the Loop and the combo didn't work out today. She can do them so well, but this is her first Jr competition & first JGP. The step sequence and spins were really nice, though, and the Axel.

Here's a 3F+3T from training, just to show you what she's capable of:

which she are you referring to - mine was a general comment not about anyone in particular.
