2025 JGP Varese Women's Short Program

A good start to the JGP for Sofya. I love her dress, the pink and blue and the sequins. Her jumps look like they get good height, particularly the 2A. She looks fast across the ice, though there's quite a bit of two foot skating between the spin and the flip, what gives, choreographer? I love the toe pick spin in her Biellmann spin.

I am more concerned about what the reviews will do to her TES. The tech panel are being strict (which is fine, they do appear to be being consistent in it)
Looks like they cleaned their glasses properly and don't try to take them of in certain moments - which is ok with me

I am really hating these unders - I hate to see skaters lose marks on solid looking jumps based on an inch of rotation. I'd rather see a skater get credit for flow and glide on landins than claw themselves to that extra inch with scratchy landings.

Despite not having a lot of 60+ scores, this JGP might well be the one with the largest number of small point differences, just look at how close all of these skaters are in scores.
She is not particularly close. She got a PCS ding on top of URs, and i assume, and edge on toe or flip? She won't recover in the free.

They get dinged for "clawing themselves" to that extra inch too. Not calling missing rotation because the jump landings look pretty would be unfair to skaters who both rotate their jumps and have nice landings.
