I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually enjoy the overhead camera shots. Love that split slide in the stsq, it looked great from above

I am glad to know Danny G. and Adelia are not at all superstitious. Remembering what happened to Pluschenko at the 2002 Olympics with the MJ short program...

I'm not sure it will go to the OLY final. Might just be a comfortable, familiar pick for the qualification. I heard they had to take a break from training in the off-season as well.

As long as they start calling everyone. Hendrickx and Gubanova will likely be on the q or underrotate on 2 of the 3 jump elements.

The PCS is under what Gubanova scored in Europeans (and even then I find her to be often held back by the judges).

Adelia could do a Gubanova or Hendrickx program in her sleep, no-one else in the world could have pulled off what Adelia did today.

Everything about that was just beautiful. The music, the costume, and the skating.

I really enjoyed Nargiz's skating on the JGP, so am happy to see her again. Nice rippon 3Lz-2T and rippon 3Lo, and a good 2A. Wow, that slide into side splits! I love the sitting position in her final spin as well. Into third right now.

Must get back to work, alas, but may the rest of the women have skates they're happy with!

Petrosian has lovely performance quality and excellent spins with amazing stretch. She is stunning with her dark hair and dark eyes. Her determination and confidence was palpable, despite the poor landing on her triple jump. I like the nice twist on her costuming for a women's sp. Difference and unique takes are very much needed in the women's discipline to stand out from a lot of boring sameness.

Despite the war horse aspect of MJ programs, Petrosian made it look fresh with an authentic take because a bit of her own personality was on display. LOL at the MJ music choice, 'They don't really care about us.'
