I didn't realize that this didn't count as a challenger, but it makes sense because of the song-and-dance ISU and IOC are doing. But it is kind of unfair to the non-neutrals who otherwise could have earned points/standings etc.

I was suprised how nicely Andrea skated. Did she get 0 for the spin? That's even more impressibe but also very costly.

I thought that type of GOE was generally reserved for perfect ultra-c. I can't remember the last time I saw +4.5 on an a 2A in general. Even Gushchina doesn't get that.

Lots of female skaters get +4s or more on average for their spins. It's rarer on jumps, but few people have jumps like Kaori's 2A. Gushchina doesn't count to the people who do, sorry.

(Don't confuse raw GOE with total GOE - A raw GOE of +4 on a 2A is "only" +1.32 in total GOE, a +5 is +1.65)
