I am here for the whole pairs event, but I won't watch the whole women's event, maybe the last two groups if I get some things done before.

I still find it amusing that the NK team wanted to use RIYBE but couldn't because foreign capitalist music so they made do with, um, a piece with heavy influences

Talk about silver lining.Well, as miserable as it is to sit up for hours in the middle of the night with a sick baby, at least she managed to get sick on the nights that there's skating to watch. But still...

Ok, the North Koreans do not have the tech to score high enough, but I really like the bond of chemistry they have developed. From the beginning to the end they are acting as one. There are quite a few better-scoring pairs who do not show this level of unity.

Hmm, this music sounds suspiciously similar to Rain in Your Black Eyes...yet it's ever so slightly different... the composer of this music clearly was inspired by it....
I think Mark will tell you at some point...Well, I think I can make pretty good guesses as to who is in the top position and the bottom position in the table!

Boys, but it is sad to see Tae-Ok being the first to start. She is a star!
Although, it was her that made the big mistake here.
But on the whole, RYOM Tae Ok / HAN Kum Chol (PRK) were really good.
Beautiful black costumes. And beautiful music.
I like them. And I hope we get to see them more often.

Yesterday, I learnt that there are potentially up to 5 pairs training in North Korea currently, so to reiterate my sentiment from yesterday, I hope we get to see more of them in the upcoming Olympic cycle. Pretty good skate for these two, some mistakes, but good levels, no falls and a good program. I think they've improved from last season and hope they keep going

We can't figure out why she won't sleep unless held... as far as we can tell, she's only got a mild stuffy nose. Must have an ear infection or sore throat or something we can't see, poor thing. What a week it's been! Glad there's skating to make it better, because
