They looked great in training and at the Japanese challenger, but they did not withstand the pressure here. If they make it to the Olympics, it's because another team made mistakes too (or a country doesn't use a spot).

Some errors but the elements were all fully rotated. Their impression is still very strong. So proud of them to have come so far so quickly. I hope the judges see fit to qualify them.

I absolutely love Nikita's costume. As for Karina, I will say the same as I said for one of the Juniors last week. It would look better if the trim was narrower, and there was more of the main colour.

Generally speaking, I love Indian themed programmes. And I loved this one!

Well, I put them down to win in my predictions. I don't know if they will, but they certainly threw down the gauntlet!

They were great!

They are so happy!

They go into the lead of both the FS and overall.

I vaguely remember this program (or at least the costumes). They might not have the skating skills of the Japanese and the program is simpler, but their technical content was executed almost flawlessly today. Good levels and GOE will help their scores a lot, and that should be the Olympic ticket. After learning about Karina's struggles, I am rooting for them even more.

I much prefer classicky Italian composer, good flow and advanced skating skills to Slumdog millionaire, tentative skating etc., but Karina lands jumps and Yuna doesn't, so congrats for being the first to qualify here.
