2025 Russian Senior Test Skates

Sofia Akateva was considered as gifted one when she was young, now she seems to be struggling so hard. What a waste - i hope another gifted one like her Veronika Zhilina wont be wasted too.

That completely fell apart after the start.

Trusova did 5 quads this time four years ago, look where we are now many can barely land triples.

There are various factors, some controversial and I might be accused of peddling conspiracies so I will hold back.

That was a moment in skating history though. I would rank it as the greatest skate I've ever seen. (Close second being Midori Ito Oly's 88)

Based on today: If you could replace her, I would replace her with Anna Frolova. If the Olympics were held today, I think Anna Frolova would win.

Let her rest, she just came back from China and is still coming off of injury. We'll see how she looks later in the season.

I agree, this was not as impressive as yesterday. Jumps in general are a concern. But the season is just starting, let's see.

Last test skates was bad. I think it was messier TBH. I remember Frolova and Muravieva were melting down. They made up for it hard carrying this test skates.

Would struggle to break 190 based on today and yesterday.

Like I said 4 years ago at this event Trusova with five quads, everyone struggling with triples now.

Adelka not the same skater since she the AIN rules came into effect.
