I was just watching a little girl on the Denis Ten thread, in a pink and red dress I normally would NOT like, but she was shining in it, so clearly sure and certain it looked lovely on her, and I thought... that is, I guess, what counts, that they think the costumes help them look their best.

Anyway, I learned a fun fact about lions from a documentary once-- lionesses do mof the hunting in lion prides!

Yes! Been watching Big Cats 24/7 doc on PBS(think it is BBC original program) and the lioness' do the hunting to feed the pride and defend it while the lions are away with possibly another pride.

Thank you for the confirmation! The lions in the documentary I saw seemed to do nothing but loaf around and fight other lions, in contrast to the lionesses...
