Xuanqi is a little star! And that was a stellar performance from them.

That's what I meant by being a bit sloppy. This should have been doable. The strategy was fine. They could have made it if they were clean with the lower content. That's the real issue. If you are going to water down the content, execution needs to be flawless. In some ways, I don't like this strategy because as soon as a mistake is made, there is tension and pressure built in.
I kinda don't believe youOKAY... I am not watching the 6 hours of women... Even if I wanted to, I just cannot but yeah.... is there still stuff happening at Denis Ten?

Also when you make a lot of last minute changes they are not what you have been practicing. Perhaps maybe better to stay with what you have in muscle memory. Either way, they will learn from this and be stronger. Sometimes you learn the most when you fail.JGPF Qualification standings:
Qualified:
Alternates:
- Ava KEMP / Yohnathan ELIZAROV (CAN) - 15+15=30 (355.34)
- Xuanqi ZHANG / Wenqiang FENG (CHN) - 15+13=28 (329.87)
- Rui GUO / Yiwen ZHANG (CHN) - 15+13=28 (329.17)
- Jazmine DESROCHERS / Kieran THRASHER (CAN) - 13+13=26 (321.15)
- Julia QUATTROCCHI / Etienne LACASSE (CAN) - 11+9=20 (297.02)
- Yuxuan CHEN / Yinbo DONG (CHN) - 11+9=20 (285.37)
- Naomi WILLIAMS / Lachlan LEWER (USA) - 11+7=18 (305.83)
- Reagan MOSS / Jakub GALBAVY (USA) - 9+9=18 (291.14)
- Sofia JARMOC / Luke WITKOWSKI (USA) - 11+3=14 (274.99)
Really bitter situation for Williams/Lewer. First alternates with a higher combined score than the teams making it into the JGPF in 5th and 6th. That's life for you, and a very painful lesson to never play it too safe.
