2025 Trialeti Trophy Pairs Free Skate

They have to get certain score to go to Olys, right?
Yes (173,89) and IIRC they also have to declare in advance at which competition they intend to get it, or in any case it has to be done in the fall season.

Does anyone know why Danilova/Tsiba WD? I'm getting more and more worried about their Olympic spot. :( Their fed doesn't want to send them and I don't think will let them go without achieving the minimum score the fed has set. It seems cruel when they earnt the spot.

C/H here 193.70, PB 201.11 still room to grow...
lets also give Ellie & Danny some time to fully recoup their PB is similar 201.73

Yeah not sending C/H to the Beijing qualifier instead of S/N is really looking worse and worse as the season progresses.
Valuable lessons for USFS for 2030.

Chan/Howe didn't help themselves with their body of work last season though. But they're coming in strong now and making a more important case for the team event. Maybe they needed that instead of Beijing.

The whole USA Pairs debacle at Chinese Nebelhorn is going to come back to haunt USFSA. It's going to be something when S/N failed to get that third spot, and instead of being odd pair out, they snag the second spot and leave Ellie and Danny at home.

Looking at the selection criteria from USFS, Shin/Nagy would have to skate lights out every competition from here on out to be in consideration. Their performance data for the USFS calculations will have them behind most other eligible teams.
