Jason is such a beautiful skater regardless of tech errors. He could score potentially close to 100 in the short. This for some reason reminds me a bit of last week. Same score basically but he still looks like a solid bet to make the US team. The top two skaters were the class of the field here. Of course some of us like Carillo but he often is on the edge of disaster/not qualifying. I think it will be interesting if Jason can win this event. Jason on a good day with the Japanese men no long so invincisble but the rise of Mikail. Could do well in the men's event come Italy BUT i could see him getting beaten by 3 Japanese men, Ilia, Mikail, the Russian with no country, Messing if he makes it (I think he would beat Gogo and Roman almost automatically and definitely Wesley), Egaze, maybe the second American, two French, two Italians. If the worst scenario happened Brown could find himself out of the top ten.
