A great skate from Young! I love a good Titanic program, and she chose some great pieces for this program. I appreciate no Celine Dion. The jumps were really solid today, but she seemed really checked out and disconnected in the step sequence - I wonder if she was off the music? The choreo sequence was great though, she really loosened up and performed there.

What good fight! She's probably going to get some calls but that was better than expected after her SP. Young's dresses are a miss for me usually unlike most Korean women. But, this one is beautiful. The program is nice if nothing particularly memorable. Has Young always bent at the waist before some of her jumps? I guess I didn't notice before but her bend before the 3 loop was , frankly, worse than Isabeau's on her toe jumps.

Struggling with jumps is OK, but not making progress in everything else, generic music, generic choreo is kinda not optimal. Hopefully Young You will restore her jumps but even more I hope she finds her style.
