2025 Grand Prix of France Women's Free Skate

Ami has lovely jumps and nice crossovers. (this program is pure crossovers as was her SP) But, I don't think she has the same quality as the last three skaters. The program is very simple and overly saccharine. Deserved medal though... I can't imagine this will beat Kaori. It shouldn't anyway...

An amazing senior debut and another really strong skate from Ami! With her SP lead, she'll win here in her first GP! Still, it was a really impressive senior debut, and she did not seem worried about being in first at all! I like this program a lot, I think it works great with Ami's personality, but after Isabeau, Rion, and Kaori, it does seem a little juniorish. I wish her team had done one program in a different style to show off her range as a performer. She has such great knee-bend on all of her jumps.

I am dissapointed she didn't put in second 3A, but I hope she is working toward it.

I really dislike the cutesy cover to which Nakai skated but this was great. 3 axel landed again (with a hand down), gonna boost TES. I loved that moment where when gliding backwards she struck a pose with her arms and body.
