I was having so much joy watching Ami and then realized, I do feel like this because she does skate with that much joy.

Seeing her skate after Kaori, who was my sunlight for so many years, I feel rejuvenated that we have many more years of joyful skating with Ami coming in as Kaori is saying Con te partiro

I'm sort of angry right now about this.

Ami skated so well, but this program left me cold. I feel like I got no emotion from it, and I wanted it so bad. I'm hoping it grows on me, because I enjoyed watching her skate her short program, I wanted that feeling for the long, and it didn't happen.

WOW, 82 provisional TES for Ami!!! That will most likely go down a bit, but still very impressive

I love that she's learning to balance risk & reward better now, younger Ami would've tried a second 3A and probably would've ended with a fall and a REP. Very well done here keeping everything together tonight

I kind of feel bad for Isabeau, you can tell she is putting everything in, but unfortunately it’s just not enough.

She is doing the right thing, she has to focus on passing 210 every competition and staying steady, not looking at the medals.
