Beccari/Guarise seem to be struggling to find the form that won them Europeans, their normally solid SBS elements were rough today, their twist isn't getting enough height and the spacing on their SBS spins was all off. They've had a lot of injury issues recently, which I'm sure has really affected their training time as a newer pair. The program is nice, even if they look like Orange Creamsicle ice pops out there, but Ghilardi/Ambrosini are looking good for the second Olympic pairs spot.

they started training late this year and skipped last season because of injuries, they have a long way to go before getting back to their old shape

Baby Chinese delivered. I have already raved on about their packaging and programs this season, so I'll refrain from that today.

I love how Jiaxuan is starting to perform more, she's just lovely

Sui and Jiaxuan would make such an awesome duo, so that Han can retire again. Jiaxuan surprised me at Chinese Nebelhorn and again today, she indeed starts performing better and better. Btw I love that their skates steps exactly on the music in the beginning.

This was another really solid short from Katie and Daniil. They can't go to the Olympics due to his lack of citizenship, so they're skating very freely out there on the ice. They have really good SBS jumps and solid pairs elements, they were a little messy on the spins today but everything else was well done. They are going to be a very strong team heading into the next quad.

This is a very steady skate for Katie & Danill. the program is nice and suits them. Competing a lot has really helped them.

Been very impressed with M/P's progress. They seem to be putting in the work. I hope they stay together through 2030.

Wow. Wonder what they thought of Big Daddy. Wasn't he 34? 35?

Oh, this has not much to do with age, but very much with how he got into the starting position and his lack of energy.

Chinese fans are just very creative and not afraid to poke some fun at athletes. - Another example is how someone else likened it to a silkworm pupae, because he wiggled around a number of times on the ice trying to find a comfortable position.

So happy for them. I've been a Katie fan for a long time! I'm tickled that she's finding so much success in pairs.
