Yuzuru's Ice Shows are being shown on Japanese TV

This is probably the best Re-Pray review I have ever read, wonderfully summarizing its core message and the way the two parts are structured. And why the audiences were so stunned to see it, and keep going back to it, and leave deeply moved and in thoughts!!
Plus the heavenly skating of course (even if a bit intentionally devilish at times!)



And this glorious moment of Yuzu skating to the Heart Sutra chanted at the background, the core text of Buddhism, opening the Gate of Living, just to slip into the Three Poisons Tale, ending with the protagonists' first exclamation from above: "I am the rule of this world". Unforgettable! And many fan favourite!!

More than 100 cinemas will show Re_Pray on November 11 across Japan. It is such a great way to campaign for the DVD which is collecting pre-orders and just about to be published while allowing the public to enjoy all the benefits of watching this wonderful show on a big screen and appreciate all the details!!!

Yuzuru Hanyu seems very happy that all 47 prefectures of Japan will have at least a screen to watch or rewatch RE_PRAY:

There's an advantage to movie theatre viewing: if a hall is sold out in advance, they can open another one, they can add a viewing in a neighbouring venue, etc. And while I guess that the date was chosen because it was on 11.11 at 11 and Yuzuru Hanyu is fond of successions of 1s, it's also a Tuesday, which I believe, for movie theatre managers, is the day before the new movies of the next week, often the halls are less full and they know which movies are working or not, so they are likely to have more possibilities for allocating more halls to rewatch RE_PRAY, be it at both 11am and 6:30pm or just the most successful time at their venue.

Yes, you were right!
All the 47 prefectures added an extra screening as the first one got sold out within hours. Now Re-Pray will be additionally shown on 11.11 at 6:30 pm at 102 cinemas across all Japan!!! :clap: :clap: :clap:

I read on two posts that there were "now" 111 screens across Japan; while this number is symbolic for Yuzuru Hanyu and his fans, it might be exceeded...
 
This will come particularly sweet for those watching in cinemas - the last one was for those watching the TV and online stream on the other side of the camera, remember?

Asahi love Yuzuru so much... figure skaing can't get traction anywhere else and they devote hours and hours to him!
 
Echoes of Life from Chiba, Day 2, this masterpiece of an ice show, will be rebroadcast on TV Asahi 2 just tomorrow, at 8.30 pm.
Yay!!!

Birthday marathon must have been a blast as they are already announcing another one on January 11, starting at 11 am, TV Asahi, of course!
As they say themselves - in celebration of Yuzuru Hanyu's love for number 1.

It will consist of 4 programs-

This very special moment when 14,000 people were singing Happy Birthday to Yuzuru in Saitama a year ago sounded yesterday again on TV Asahi during their Yuzu marathon. So many happy memories!!! :love2:

Let's be accurate: 2 of these were mute, 3 were just out of a cold and hadn't recovered their voice, 25 had already cheered him so much that they had lost theirs for a while, and 108 members of staff joined them. That's 14078. Ah. :biggrin:

I'll confess the truth. 2, 3 & 25 were random, then I wondered, how many members of staff present, maybe around 100, to have this "unlucky-looking" 14k number look "luckier"?
It may seem a reach but I've lately learned the problems of wedding guests with the new 10,000¥ banknotes (showing a man who's said to have cheated, unfortunate omen for a wedding) and how they manage to get lucky numbers in spite of it... So, some people give it importance?
