Vetlugin finishes 4th. He should be able to hold this position tomorrow. He made it really difficult for himself which he didn't have to. Hopefully it's all for the best and it makes him even more exciting. Definitely the main event. If he's all clean it will be a proper legendary stage-skate.

The judging in general is ridiculous this season. I was jarred by how much worse the internationals are, though. NHK judges literally don't look at spin levels. I'm 99% sure they just eye-ball and it write 4 for whatever looks nice. Russia is a bit better with spins but I am still often confused with their scoring.

At least they started calling Dikidzhi's edge. Though I feel sad for him. He had skated an entire season with no сalls and then spent entire off-season include the 4F to the SP as well. And the judges are like "no".
