I saw Lopareva/Brissaud skate live in Lake Placid on Sunday—three days ago? I’m only barely recovered from my trip. Yet here they are, ready to skate at another competition, in faraway Poland.
What these elite athletes can do is infinitely amazing to me

Yes it's impressive that they are here doing a second competition in few days and doing pretty good so far !

I know scores are pushed up, but it is so heartwarming to see them getting that score after a difficult Skate America where they got scored harshly imho

Did anyone see Green and Parsons? I was a bit behind (watching the Swiss team) and the stream cut out and it won't rewind that far.. the score looks great!

Did Right Said Fred cause the stream to die?

They did great. I would have put them even higher and in 1st, but that's just my take. I love their RD program, great music, choreo and so much detail, speed and difficulty in their steps, twizzles and other elements looked good. Their skating skills are in the 9 range and IMO they don't get scored as highly as they should, but it was a solid performance and a seasons best.
