This was so beautiful Fantastic skate. Her skating skills are amazing, she got so much better at expressing emotions and this program is perfect vehicle for her. Ususally I'm not R&J enthusiast but I love this program so much.

A very good skate from Mone Chiba, I think we're gonna have a change of the leader here. Japan has so many female skaters I adore but just three will go to the Olympics which sucks. Out of those in Helsinki - Rino Matsuike is my personal favourite

Love Chiba’s reaction after the skate! That’s the first time I seen that from her and I’m no longer worried about her nerves. She’s got this! Another great performance from her, althoigh she’s committed better in Kinoshita and in her first GP. The lunge in the steps is beautiful.

A lovely skate by Mone, and so much excitement at the end of it. I enjoyed the little pieces of choreography in between - the catch-foot spiral at the start, the falling leaf on the crescendo before the salchow (I think). Her forward lunge as the step sequence transitions to the choreo sequence is gorgeous. A second falling leaf out of the 3F. Her rotation speed in the layback spin is astonishing.
