Fun fact for you, according to skating scores since 2008 (when the record there begins) We've never had more than 2 junior pairs teams compete. This will be the first time since I don't know when that a bronze medal will be awarded!
It certainly makes for a more fun competition
I am also wondering when we last had more junior pairs competing than junior ice dance teams?
Actually the one before, he did advanced novice back in 23! Only know because I looked it up, your memory is better than mine!Oliver was in pairs last season, wasn't he?
I assume he wanted to go for the triple axel, it's a bit of a bugbear for him. I wish he would do a few more competitions, of course I don't know what the reason is for not but I feel like it could maybe help.Shame about the axel for Lloyd. That will be a costly error.
And the Hungarians are realistically the most likely to take advantage of any big mistakes for those 3. If they finish top 5 again with a PB score they will have done well. They haven't been as consistent this season compared to last year.I think you're being a bit optimistic, but there's no harm in hoping! I am expecting the podium to be some combination of Hase/Volodin, Metelkina/Berulava, and Conti/Macii.
David Richardson from Dundee choreographed Ed's programme. He then was polishing it in Tallinn with Anna Levandi and Olga DabrytskayaHow stunning were Edward & Arin! Wowowow!
Does anyone know who choreographed Edward's SP? He performed it so well too, apart from the ending finishing after his music stopped. The dark theatricality and gothic styling was just way beyond his years.
And Arin Omg! Swindon is attracting quite the stable of skaters flocking there now. It really is becoming the top rink! I thought both men were underscored for what they performed. I'd rather see that quality and clean programs than 3A or Quads.
Shhhh I'm not giving upAnd the Hungarians are realistically the most likely to take advantage of any big mistakes for those 3. If they finish top 5 again with a PB score they will have done well. They haven't been as consistent this season compared to last year.
