Apparently, I’m already signed in & can comment. It seems to me that the ones that had no glaring errors are 1 & 2. Who would’ve thought that it’d be Liu vs Chiba for the gold? I still think Glenn or Sakemoto could medal with a great skate.

So looking forward to this comp, but its gonna have to work hard to beat the Jr Ladies Free. The senior ladies will be gut wrenching highs and lows, just like the short was.
Well, my prediction is that this whole Jr/Sr comp is one of the best I have ever seen not only as far as skating Quality (The Jr. Women could have kicked Ms. Tara off her Oly gold platform easily) but even though we are used to quality productions from the Japanese, this one takes the cake. The camera work is first rate and the video switcher person should get a medal. Both jobs are NOT easy. Two perfect commentators were chosen who are not enamoured with the sound of their own voices blurting out brain droppings. The big video boards behind the K and C would be interesting to see in person and the Japanese fans are the best. I wanna see the forum members who picked the short and free skate orders correctly as well as the free skate winner. THEY deserve an award.

Unfortunately, Sky have a big lead in to Qualifying, so I will be leaving again shortly after the skating finishes.

Sky really do go overboard with the lead-ins. 30 minutes lead in to FP1; 60 minutes lead in to Qualifying; 90 minutes lead in to the race.

10 minutes for the Practices / Qualifying, and 30 minutes for the race, would be sufficient.

But, I still watch them, in case something significant happens, or they tell us something significant.
