Well I have enjoyed this event a lot. All the teams really turned up the volume from what I saw in practice. Proud of all the teams.

Couldn't hear the music that the Shibs were skating to as Gabby was yakking on & on. I wonder how many retired American skaters are commentators on other countries' networks.

I mean, their performance was streaming only, and no matter what our skating bubble thinks of them, people would wonder if former Olympic medalists weren't shown at all.

Yes I was thinking about that for Ben Agosto as that was the year they(he and Tanith Belbin) won their Olympic Silver medal. I thought I heard an extra little smile in his voice when he spoke about 2006 and returning now.

And after NBC highlighted them as Olympic Team possibilities, they kind of HAD to show it. I get that NBC wants folks glued to the TV, and hyping familiar names is part of it, but that was ridiculous.
