So nice that so many of the young women see Amber as a big sister and that she works at living up to that. She is the Kaori of the US. We talked about Kaori raising the younger girls at Japanese Nationals and I think similar things can be said about Amber.

To be honest, I think this was a bit of an improvement over her performances early in the season. She's been dealing with injury. The SP was the best she has skated all year. Hopefully, she'll be back to her regular self by next year.

She just had a strange look on her face at the end.

I used to feel the same way but I’ve come around. On the classical side some beautiful arias, but today I loved loved loved Keegan rocking out at Canada Nationals.

I was wondering the same thing. She was giving last season of career Caroline Zhang vibes during and after that skate. I hope she is able to rediscover the love and joy in her skating before it’s too late. Like Caroline, she looks so uncomfortable and miserable on competition ice.

I was hoping she could beat Sophie and nab the JWC spot again. She is the defending bronze medalist after all.

Also, I wonder if Sophie will even get the JWC spot. Angela Shao scored higher in the Junior event and isn’t Sarah in her final age of junior eligibility?
If I was Sarah, I would do 4CC and JWC, if I fail to make the Olympic team
