2026 U.S.Nationals Senior Women Short Program

The scores are what they need to show for the Ogm and all medals. Most if not all got 80.s
Yes not international. But they got the 75 and especially 80 s first in the national respectively

I wish Alysa really had wanted to add a 3 axel this season it would have give her the advantage not just at home against Amber but internationally against the Japanese Ladies.

It was mentioned during the short program broadcast that Alysa's been landing the 3A in practice. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she debuts it at the Olympics.

Yes, he said that the second jump in Sarah's combo was more under-rotated than Bradie's, but she didn't get called, but Bradie's did.
I didn't get to see Sarah's on replay, but my first reaction is that he's correct. Meaning that I thought Sarah was under while watching live.

Edit: to be clear - I generally prefer Sarah to Bradie so I'm not hating on Sarah. But looking at those combos with an impartial eye, something was off on those calls. I've said it many times. I prefer a strict panel to a loose one, but I really do not like an inconsistent one.

The stream has started for me.

Sadly, it's Tara and Johnny. No other stream is available as far as I can see.

I'll just mute between programs.
And of course we have to get all the commercials no matter what feed we have,I have both since here in parts of NYC my cable is Spectrum which gives me free apps including Peacock

Didn't get to see all of Sarah's skate, suffering a cold so actually fell asleep somewhere between Zhang & Sarah. Will watch replay tomorrow but the final 3 where awesome.

I watched this event entirely on the QQ Japanese stream and it was honestly so relaxing not to have Tara and Johnny or any NBC commentators hyping skaters up and then tearing into them for the tiniest mistakes. Probably will do the same for men, at least for the final group.

I'm so happy for all the clean skates, but I definitely feel like Bradie was held to a harsher standard than everyone else and it's sad and upsetting. IMO she should've been ahead of Sarah Everhardt, easily.

On a more positive note YAY Amber, yay Alysa and Isabeau and so happy Starr is in the final group!

Well my ladies predictions are right on track except for Bradie & Sarah who I have flipped. Unlike my pairs predictions which are in tatters and make me so sad for the skaters.
Oh good grief. Its only the short and they are close. Things can easily change. Calm down. LOL

Bravo to Amber, Alyssa and Isabeau. I think they have sealed the deal to earn their olympic berths. Sure a lot can happen but unless Sarah or Bradie win the title I don't think they have enough to make the team if Isabeau, ALyssa and Amber place in the top 4 or 5 at Nats.

I love Alysa, but she was problematically overscored. That was at best an average performance of that program for her, compared to best-yet performances by Levito and Glenn of theirs. It's fine for her to be ahead of Levito, but she should not be in a position where--because of a 6 point lead in the SP--she can have a significantly worse program than Levito in the FS and still beat her. After those performances, it's Glenn who should be in a position where she can make a mistake in the FS and still beat both Levito and Liu.

(and I'm sorry for what is a bit of a bullying comment, but please rethink that hair dye, it's just bad packaging)

Isn't it crazy that I could only watch few performance of US nats with japanese commentating thanks to some nice person who uploaded it on twitter? 😂 My conspiratory theory is that US fed wants us only to see those hiper-inflated scores to make us believe the performances were worth them.

Anyway, girls did very well (at least those who I was able to watch). Amber-Alysa-Isababy didn't disappoint so no drama so far. I really like Sherry, I think she has the best skating skills of all. I loved Sonja's program. Elyce looked much stronger than in the GP, so as Josephine. Bradie was solid. I appreciate that so many US girls has really nice spins and good performing skills.

It’s “all those commercials” that pay for the broadcast. Same as with anything else that’s on TV.
