Alisa and Misha, Ellie and Danny come across as good people. They project human frailties but show genuine sportsmanship. I am sorry for Alisa that her citizenship will likely not come through. I am very happy that Danny will (likely) will be going to the Olympics and I thinking/hoping that this will be Ellie and Danny's moment to put it all together and score top 8. The second US team for the Olympics? I'm leaning to Emily and Spencer but there will be alot of analysis on this one.

I can’t imagine a situation where they don’t name the silver medalists to the team. Even if the gold medalists had citizenship.
Danny is a lovely person and answers my IG messages, one of the few skaters to do so.

I've been hospitalized twice with pneumonia. Not a fun trip and initially they thought I was one of the first cases in my area with Covid (it wasn't called that yet) - they put me in quarantine just in case. If you can't breathe you certainly can't run ...or skate. Awful timing for her but it's never a good time for pneumonia.

Not a fun trip and initially they thought I was one of the first cases in my area with Covid (it wasn't called that yet) - they put me in quarantine just in case. If you can't breathe you certainly can't run ...or skate. Awful timing for her but it's never a good time for pneumonia.

Any time anyone mentions "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" to me, I'm reminded of an episode of the original run of "Queer Eye for The Straight Guy".

Carson Kressley was at someone's home, and they had a large, light, tapestry on the wall. When they removed it for the decorating portion, he draped it around his shoulders, crouched down, and said:

"Look! Crouching tiger, hidden drag queen!"

Carson is a riot and spontaneous. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon began my journey for huge appreciation for everything Asian and that most definitely includes BTS

Danny is a lovely person and answers my IG messages, one of the few skaters to do so.

I was in Montreal for World's and Danny came way up in our section because a bunch of munchkins were calling to him. It was so cool to see this happen. He was incredibly gracious, patient (he stayed for quite a while) and the kids just were so stoked.

Ben is a good base commentator but not a fan of Ashley. The job is to highlight the performers, not make yourself the star. I would prefer if Gracie was Ben's partner.

Seconding how nice (and accessible) Danny is. He was in the concourse at Boston Worlds when we bumped into him & Ellie. He was explaining to us that he had competed with a broken foot.

Let me tell you about 2018 US Nationals and the Olympic team.... But no, I do not see it happening in this case and I think these two are safe.
