Wow, this event all came down to men. And this is where having a fresh guy with a very similar potential pays off. Great strategy from Japan and Italy. Malinin, Egadze and Gogolev have their work cut out for them. Men are gonna men... heh.

Let´s see if I understand it correctly, for Georgia to take the bronze they need to be 2 places ahead of Italy now in the standings? Like if Nika finish 4th and Matteo 5th, Italy will still get the bronze? So if Gogolev takes the 3rd place it´s bad news for Georgia. If Georgia takes 3rd place, but Matteo finish 4th if Gogolev finish 5th, that will still be the bronze for Italy? So all in all - Italy and Georgias bronze might rely on Stephens performance.

We also have the scenario where Nika places ahead of Shun but I don´t think that will happen

So with Ilia and Shun being in 1 and 2, we "only" have to hope for Gogo to be ahead of egadze and everything will be fine?

There is a Milica DJOKOVIC (SRB) that I have been keeping an eye on coming through the ranks for a few years, and I have often wondered if she is related to Novak.

She is currently in her first full season of Advanced Novices, having done a mixture of Basic and Advanced last season.
