Now that Ilia's second set of costumes have had a few outings, which do you like best? First or second set? I love both but my only complaint is that we only got to see the first set two times.

I like his second set of costumes! Love the SP costume, and the FS costume is so regal and epic

I can’t believe the Olympics is about to start! Of course I’m nervous, but Ilia seems happy and relaxed so that makes me feel better.

I read an article from USA Today saying that Ilia only wants to skate the SP in the team event. I think this is quite reasonable. But USFS will evaluate our medal standings after the SP and see if he needs to do the FS too.... I just hope Ilia gets to do what he wants and feels comfortable with.

Ilia Malinin and his coaches would prefer he skate just the short program in the team event to preserve his body for the men's individual event.

Last night I saw that his SP planned program content was 4A+ 3T, and I was/am terrified But this morning his run through seemed to be his usual layout

98 and 2nd in the SP for the team event. That's okay. Gotta get that first skate on Olympic ice out.

He best do a lot better in the Free skate and most importantly in the individuals.

I think the 3A was a bit over rotated, but at least he saved it. I am really mad they gave his 4Lz an under! It looked fine! I really hope the tech panel isn’t trying to prop up Japan by going after Ilia.

But Ilia did great and I’m not worried about the individual event.

Ilia is a fighter and he knows what he’s doing. I believe in him! Looking forward to seeing his next performance, whether it is team or individual. Just hope the tech panel isn’t evil
