The ice here is created with a mixture of water from the Alps mountains and the dust of newborn babies. Perfect for skating.

Halfway through the event and to be honest, the skates so far have felt overall sort of lacking

Not just about falls or technical mistakes, but mostly for me the performances have been tentative, without much purpose or emotional connection. Most skaters looked nervous, tired or both unfortunately

Let's see how the second part goes, let's hope we see more alive and spirited skates, fingers crossed!
