I blame this on NBC.NBC is devastated. They were pinning all his hopes on him.

I thought they were about to give it to misha... but he was held back in jump GOE a little. And despite a field so strong as this one, no one cracked the 300.
I am truly happy for Mikhail but it is kind o fvunfortunate he is not a well rounded sater and he did it when everyone else messed up. Part of the game but he is not going to be remembered as awesome medallist, or awesome progroa or awesome aristry or aesome tech. He just won because everyoen crashed. A win. The real winner and wih some proper judging really is the Canadian boy who was under 1.5 points from bronze now that is the story.I'm sorry for Ilya but also he was so cocky. His program is white boy struggle with his own voice like, he didnt seem to embrace the storm much did he?
Today humility wins, very deserved win for Misha.
Nah. Not for me. There was still a chance Yuma could catch up, if Illia made big errors.THIS SURELY HAS TO BE THE BIGGEST OLYMPIC UPSET IN FIGURE SKATING HISTORY??

At home Olympics?!Grassl to Italian TV : I had food poisoning yesterday.....after the skate....I had to run to the bathroom...
It really feels that way!FRIDAY THE f**king 13TH

He had a massive fall, took time getting up, and has a less difficult program than Shun. I'm fine with it, even if the scoring could be different.Yeah. Jun was robbed.
Nah, Yuma's jumps really weren't jumping.I'd be fine with it but different order
It's like women's snowboarding half pipe last night where there was heavy snow and none of the athletes could complete a run without hitting either the lip at the top or the ground at the bottom. The medalists were only to complete a single run out of three.Wow, I was sure that Mallinin would win on one leg. And now he's only 8th!!!
I'm so happy for Mikael.
This was the craziest competition I've ever watched.
No awesome tech for Misha? Come on now. He is ofc no Patrick Chan but his jumps are SOLID!!!I am truly happy for Mikhail but it is kind o fvunfortunate he is not a well rounded sater and he did it when everyone else messed up. Part of the game but he is not going to be remembered as awesome medallist, or awesome progroa or awesome aristry or aesome tech. He just won because everyoen crashed. A win. Other than the 4A, it was safe for IlyaShould have played it safe.
True, I missed that fall. But the scoring on his short program was criminal. He had a massive fall, took time getting up, and has a less difficult program than Shun. I'm fine with it, even if the scoring could be different.
Just like Junhwan who was robbed even more in the short program PCS imoThat was shocking. Never proclaim a champion before the event. I don't think Shun was robbed in the team event but he was kind of robbed here. Given the skates, he should have higher PCS and a silver medal imho. Anyway, the Olympics is always different.
