I don't understand why the Brits didn't send Nina Povey?

Spours can't do a 2A, and that's very costly as you need to do it in every program.
Because Nina wasn't guaranteed to skate better, she had 2 decent shorts this season, but other than them she was around low 40 score, Kristen was still better bet even without Axel.

Pathetic but I guess best not to distract. I see Daniil is here but wasn't allowed in Beijing, what gives?

Can anyone tell me from practise sessions if she was doing ultra C? I was surprised not to see the 3A
They must've decided against it in advance, it was 2A in the planned content.

She practiced 4T in Milan. You can view videos of her practices on her fan thread in the Fan Fest of this forum. It was reported that they do not plan to include 3A in the SP.

Somebody said they always put 2A in planned content.

Talking about axels, how's Spours' future? Is there any hope she can get the Axel back, or is she planning to retire?

It is to be seen, at first she was supposed to sit out whole season, but I guess the recovery progressed quicker, so she may stay for a while. I hope so, she deserves many fabulous skates.

Petrosian’s score is too high. For reference, Petrokina only scored 70.61 in the SP to win her 2nd European title last month and she skates with much better speed and jump technique than Petrosian displayed here.
NEarly half of the pack is skating better than her
