I don't understand why the Brits didn't send Nina Povey?

Spours can't do a 2A, and that's very costly as you need to do it in every program.

Because Nina wasn't guaranteed to skate better, she had 2 decent shorts this season, but other than them she was around low 40 score, Kristen was still better bet even without Axel.

Yep. And Kristen made the free at Europeans, while Nina didn't. With Kristen's injury, we just don't have a world class woman, unfortunately.

She practiced 4T in Milan. You can view videos of her practices on her fan thread in the Fan Fest of this forum. It was reported that they do not plan to include 3A in the SP.

She has said Prague will be her final event. No option to send Povey there, I don't think she has the minimums.

It is to be seen, at first she was supposed to sit out whole season, but I guess the recovery progressed quicker, so she may stay for a while. I hope so, she deserves many fabulous skates.
