Might be just your feet getting used to the rather aggressive sole. Will probably go away once you get used to them.
Stiffness between brands can't be compared 1 to 1, but the Ice Fly is rated the same (90), and while they flex a bit differently, the same logic should apply. Nice thing about Prime, though, is that you can leave the top hooks unlaced and get more flex that way. On Ice Fly, you're kind of locked to that pretty high stiffness, until they go bust.
But, I'm glad you can skate pain free
