I never was a fan of Alysa in her first incarnation but I am all into this one. She’s going to eat whatever she wants (literal published requirement/condition for coming back), wear her hair the way she wants, play the drums at 4CC if she wants and I am here for it. Would have wished for Bradie to be here, I think are would have finished higher than Isabeau, but that’s not what the Olympics are about. Only thing that would have made it perfect would have been for Amber to also be on podium.
This was also the best skated comp I’ve seen in who knows how long.

It was same podium as Grand Prix Final except Kaori/Ami change standings.
Question is if Alysa is going for Worlds to collect the triple crown.

Best 3 skaters tru season ended on podium.Someone had to be crying in the end.

It wasn't perfect season for Kaori to end her carrer unfortunately, but everyone will remember her.

Alysa is just mentally unbeatable and deserve to win.

Next Olympic cycle will future new stars so it's exciting.

See you at Worlds in a month.

Nah behind Kaori is complete bs. I can at least get silver.
kaori and yuma my problematic silver medalists this olys
like more than anything id have loved for them to get gold but it should have been bronze... :cry3:

also I was telling my friend before Ami even skated that it was gonna be Alysa gold and Mone 4th lol. It's just their vibes unfortunately

Unfortunately I also kind of saw Kaori minor error into not getting the breakthrough placement she wanted because I've been a kaori stan since 2018, we've seen this before, but hey, I also never would have expected Kaori 3x world champ in 2018 so I think I'll take it for a career. As much as it hurts Kaori now I think she will also eventually be at peace with it because she's come so far, done her best, and I'm sure she also ultimately believes in don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened :cheer::cheer2::cheer2:

No, she messed the combo up and there were URs
There were no UR's in Ami's program.

Meanwhile, Alysa had her usual sketchy 3T executed with a huge reach-around, but no call.

The judges simply held Ami down because she's not the person who is "supposed" to win. Completely hosed her on PCS and also GOE for the 'q' calls on jumps that were totally fine.
