A safer program from Ilia than at the Olympics, but I enjoy seeing him skate with a cleaner layout because it really helps him perform more! A well-deserved title for him based on the two programs, and I think this podium has to be thrilled; Ilia gets redemption, Yuma had a clean Turandot, and Shun put out another spectacular free!

Sports are very strange. I think Ilia is more loved than ever now because of the vulnerability he showed at the Olympics. I prefer Yuma's flow and soft knees, but from an athletic level what Ilia does is unprecedented. Bravo to him for delivering this performance after a massive disappointment. Having two skaters in the 300s is always special.
