Music you wish someone would skate to

Once non-cliche approach to the ice dance has been mentioned...
I think I have a suggestion for a same-sex dance team. It's the all-girls musical version of Wayward Son from the Supernatural series soundtrack (I'll give you the whole scene from the episode #200 "Fan Fiction" to familiarize you with the vibe):



Apparently, it has to be mixed with more from the series' soundtrack to be a proper Supernatural program. The series provide a large choice of rock classics but I would suggest Skeletons by Heartist (the opening credits song of Season 2) because of the inner drama reference:

 
Rhumba de Burros by Ignatius Jones, from Strictly Ballroom, which is one of my favorite movies EVER. The music is fun, but the best part is the singing; starts at 1:27.

I couldn't find the lyrics anywhere, sadly, but the song always makes me smile big time. And my toes never stop tapping!

I thought this would make a nice exhibition skate for ice dancers.. for some reason Piper and Paul come to mind (probably because I adore their EX to Autumn Leaves).. I think this song may be AI generated but I really love the song and sentiment..

I'll start by mentioning the theme from the 1995 remake of the movie Sabrina, which has a lovely theme by John Williams that is almost exactly the correct length for a free skate! I remember Eunsoo Lim had a program using it, but I don't think she kept it beyond a couple competitions, and I'm not aware of it being used by others. I think this would be a lovely program for Isabeau Levito, Rino Matsuike, or a similarly elegant skater who can project a certain bright hopefulness.

Kushida/Shimada used the tune "Sabrina" for the second half of their FD this season (choreo by Cathy Reed), making a powerful impression on the audience of JNats last December. It might have made some skaters wanting to use that tune.

(Thanks to Team Champery Fans, we can watch them at Golden Spin, although their condition wasn't as good.)

I personally would like to see some French or alpine accordion music being used in the next quad.

I totally adore the entire Once Upon a Time in the West soundtrack and would love to see more folk skate to the Man with a Harmonica - to my mind the most absolutely perfect piece of film music every written, not the most beautiful but oh god what it does for the film, there is nothing like it...

The problem - and this is true of a lot of my favourite music - is when I think 'someone should skate to this' I immediately have the caveat 'who?' because when someone actually does my reaction more than once has been 'but not that someone, someone else!' (not because I dislike the skater but when they don't fit, they really do not fit. And the not fit hurts more when I love the music... or even the skater)
 
Since it's already off season some ideas come to my mind. I just rewatched few Carolina's programs and I wish sb skate to Debussy's "Prelude to the afternoon of a Faun" again. It's a great but also unique and quite difficult peace with a lot of potential to explore. I think Mone Chiba would nail it, maybe Lara Naki with her beatiful lines and creativity would also bring sth special, Mayuko Oka as well. I would also love to see a version by ice dancers, I think IkuKo could try it or maybe LaLa with their gorgeous skating skills, they need some serious material with musical layers matching their skating potential.

Thinking of some recent soundtrack, to bring sth new, I think "Sentimental value" has a really beatiful well composed score, created by very talented Polish musician Hania Rani. I wish sb could try it. Also, anything by Hania Rani would be great, a lot of music she made sounds quite skateable. I would recommend "Eden" or "Dancing with ghosts".

Although I just looked it up and it looks like American Ice Theatre did one. It would be great as a men's free program!
