2025-26 U.S. Pairs Figure Skating

Herbert continued with Alena Kerr last season after splitting with Gottschalk
That's why he is crossed off and Graceann remains on it with Sam's name crossed out to remember who her FORMER partner was.

This is my last post on this subject.

Perhaps you can edit your "table" post to explain what the cross-out names mean and note that a split will be listed if either (or both) partner is still looking for a partner.

I know it's annoying to have to explain the same thing again and again, but many people reply to a post before reading all the ensuing posts, which may clarify the original one. I know I've done it many times. Usually in my case it's answering a question that has already been answered.

Mark Sadusky is definitely looking for a new partner, unless he’s found one and hasn’t announced it.

@Silevril Ilumire, you asked a question in the retirements and splits thread about Audrey Shin as a potential partner for Luke Wang. I haven't heard anything about that as a possibility, nor as a rumor.

There have been a number of claims by TSL, some of them which have proved to be wrong. TSL posted the speculation that Wang would partner with his girlfriend, Starr Andrews. It has also been rumored that they had a tryout. Starr had previously announced she was filming a documentary about her partnership search, so if it is produced and released, it will likely be revealed who she tried out with prior to pairing with Daniil Parkman.

We know from his IG that Wang is planning to attend UCLA. There's no indication yet whether he's going to combine academics with continued pairs competition. What we have seen regarding Audrey Shin is that she's been training at WASA in Colorado, practicing with various pairs guys, including Mark Sadusky and Timmy Chapman (who has been based in Boston). TSL has claimed in a recent post that Audrey is partnering with Spencer Howe. But I have seen no confirmation of that. There's also no indication that Spencer and Emily Chan have split. Again, TSL has made claims that have not panned out.

Timmy Chapman should be on this list, AFAIK. He split with Ellie Korytek, who is also missing on this list. As well, it's possible, but unconfirmed that Danylo Siianytsia has recently found a partner.

Yep @paulusfr. I came here to discuss the above photos, which are also posted in a story by Starr & Daniil individually, along with being posted in a story on their new Team Starrman joint account.

Two things: From the photo, it looks like Katie McBeath has paired with Balazs Nagy, but I do not see any announcement on their individual accounts. As well, I read on another forum that Chelsea & Ryan have news afoot which has not been announced. Since Chelsea & Ryan are not pictured in the rink's group 'family photo,' it makes me wonder if the news will be that they have switched to a new coaching team? 🤔 If so, are they now in Chicago with Ryan's former coaches, Berton/ Brubaker; or with Chris/Alexa & Timothy? Chicago with Ryan's former coaches seems more likely than at WASA's MMpairs, or with Jim Peterson in Detroit, or with SCOB. Forget about Fontana/ Zimmerman in Florida.

^^ Oh, and since Brandon Frazier is also pictured, that means he will continue to be involved at the Irvine rink, while pursuing his financial career. 👍

Olivia Flores has been practicing a lot with Mark Sadusky at WASA's MMpairs, but nothing has been announced yet.

It has to be soon that we'll hear whether or not Audrey is landing in Boston with Spencer, and if so, what that means for Emily. As well, Timothy Chapman will likely stay in the Boston pairs camp. So, will it actually end up being Timothy with Audrey, and Em/Spence remain intact? Or something else completely different?

If Chelsea & Ryan are switching to a new coaching team, does it have anything to do with the two new pairings at Irvine, and Chels & Ryan not wanting to get lost in the shuffle? Also, perhaps Chelsea is not eager to train at the same rink with her former partner. 🤔

That does not appear to be an issue for Katie, though. So, hopefully the McPark split was amicable. How much input did the U.S. federation have re these new pairings?

BTW, in the Irvine rink photos, I'm not that familiar with the juniors pictured, but there looks to be a new pairing or more in the junior ranks, too. Can anyone help identify names with faces for the younger students?

Just saw this. FR?! 👀 And why Monument rink? 🤔

ETA:
Well, Spencer seems to be kind and patient, so maybe this will work out better for Audrey. And maybe they are not training there permanently, since the last sentence was, "See you next time." Does this mean they are gonna train in Boston? Or at WASA with MMpairs? Strange reveal...

Does this mean Timmy with Emily in Boston? 🤔 The musical pairs chairs season of all time!!! 😳

ETA:
Scratch that. It's being said that Emily has been trying out with Danylo Siianytsia, who is based in Minnesota. This is a headspinning, whirlwind off-season, for sure.

that he ghosted and run away 🙃
What do you mean? Please be specific. Do you mean that Spencer ghosted and ran away from Emily? What's going on exactly? Are any of us personal friends with any of these skaters and directly in-the-know about anything that's been happening with these partner shake-ups in figure skating? Speak up, please. Don't be cryptic. And, if you are speculating from tangential info, be upfront and direct please. Thank you.

Notice also that the IG post from Monument rink is not an official announcement from either Audrey or Spencer. Hopefully, we'll hear from both of them soon. And from Emily as well.

Clearly, we are awaiting official news from Katie & Balazs, too.

So @paulusfr, I honestly don't understand whether you are joking or if you have some insider knowledge. If Audrey & Spencer are a new partnership, I was thinking in a positive way that their relationship might prove to be better than what Audrey reportedly experienced with Balazs. Then, you brought up ghosting. 🤔

Everything that's going on is already confusing enough. If you're making a joke, okay. If you have more info, then that's all I was asking.

If you are inferring that Spencer is not kind and patient because he and Emily apparently split, we don't know how the decision was made. It was most likely mutual, and there could have been U.S. fed intervention. Same situation with McBeath/ Parkman. It was likely mutual, possibly with some U.S. federation intervention. Spencer and Emily have been together for about 7 years, so I think what they accomplished together took patience and flexibility from both of them, especially in regard to their respective physical challenges.

The surprising thing has been the large number of splits, retirements, and new pairings across pairs and ice dance internationally, but particularly ice dance in Canada and pairs in Canada and the U.S.
