I would dearly love to go to this - the line-up is phenomenal - so many favourite skaters, but especially Deniss and Stephane.

...But Switzerland is scarily expensive £££££. (Lausanne Europeans might be off the table for the same reason, sadly )

This show may be more accessible than European Championships, as they are between January 27th and 31th, while the public part of the Prix de Lausanne (Ballet) starts that very January 31st, but the Dancers, their Teachers, their families and the Judges are also there the previous week for the lesson assessment part of the Prix de Lausanne, which is not public. I'm afraid that finding accommodation will be very difficult... and even more expensive than the usual Lausanne accommodation.

Unfortunately, I think the costs of travelling to Champery in August will preclude me from the show. Hopefully, it will be recorded like the last one, and there may be opportunity to stream it at some point.

I'm so delighted that he's decided to continue - he's definitely needed on the ice! Hope he gets a second assignment, too.

I was so sorry to see that he and Donovan Carrillo got only one assignment... Of course, Deniss Vasiljev's last season was terrible, "thanks" to his Federation, but it's still painful!

I am just relieved he got one. I hope he does a challenger and does a senior B in Latvia.

I'm hoping he goes to Nebelhorn. I may try to get to another Challenger, too - does Deniss have a habit of going to any particular competitions?

He likes Neblehorn and Nepela. I cry because he will never go to Cranberry Cup in August, because there is always the Champerey Exhibition.

He wanted to go to Nebelhorn last year but withdrew. Hopefully he will come this year. He seems to like Oberstdorf since he came for a show too
