Yuzuru Hanyu

Just as DeepEdge Plus, Culture Cruise are giving away five tickets for the Couture on Ice Exhibition at the Tokyo Tower, to some of their paid members:

Here's their Instagram post, with beautiful photos:

Photographer Takaaki Miura has posted photos of his latest shoot of Yuzuru Hanyu for Quadruple Axel:

A powerful earthquake (6.8 to 7.1 in Magnitude depending on sources) hit the Kyushu Island some hours ago, particularly the Kumamoto Prefecture; a half of a bridge has collapsed in a river; the Aeon Mall Kumamoto, just rebuilt after the 2016 earthquake, has exploded, and it's feared that people are trapped in:

Edit: there's no tsunami alert, or rather, there's been one briefly, soon lifted; and there seems to be no damage to any nuclear plant; but there's no update, I suppose that journalists are now sleeping; I suppose that rescue teams are hard at work though!

Do you remember that the gorgeous deep-blue costume known as Moonlight Sonata (the name of the costume itself as Yuzu never skated such a program) was inspired by Game of Thrones? So now you do. ;)
Satori Ito had revealed that much when Yuzu skated to the Last Ambient in it therefore displaying the costume to the public. Now, with Moonlight Sonata featuring as one of Couture on Ice outfits, getting proper exposure and attention in the photobook, the exhibition and all that comes with it, she revealed some more about the creative process behind it. It was inspired by a phantasy of who Yuzuru would be if he was a part of the GoT world, "a dark-haired Targaryen living in secret and alone, and full of magic powers".
I love GoT so I love this story too, and I am thrilled
BTW, there is a dark-haired Targaryen featuring in the story and he's called ... Jon Snow, the best man of them all :)

That sounds so like Yuzu!

NekoMasamune tells us that the July Full Moon is called Buck Moon in Japan, and shows us Sendai's:

Of course, he's still competing in his mascot contest and seeking votes:

I'm still trying to catch up with fanart... Of course Prequel is the main trend:

This fanartist has made a Ten to Chi to + Kaku fanart bag with Couture on Ice and Prequel merchandise:

Is yellow an apt theme for a post? We're still in Prequel:

But Yuzuru Hanyu's fourth PrpVersary wasn't ended:

Lisa too was still at the Fourth ProVersary:

And the Xinhua Interview was still a trend too:
