Polish team is out now and the couple from Belarus team is facing elimination.

We can also start confirming who is going to qualify or not!!

Both Jason and Oda were amazing!!

Enjoyed both programs. So good to see Oda back looking strong and fit. He has such wonderful soft knees. Jason did well too getting all Level 4s. His footwork is difficult and entertaining.

Estonians are currently in second place and now the Austrians are on the ice.
The team from Belarus is now out.

Next pair in danger are the pair from North Korea

WE CAN ALSO CONFIRM! That the Ukrainian pair are the first couple to qualify for Sochi! Well Done Elizaveta and Roman!!:)

I agree, it's nice to see Nobunari back in action. I really enjoyed his SP -- he seem to show some of his personality! I hope he has a great season. Japanese Nationals is going to be such a blood bath.

And word on Jason's FW; so difficult, yet pleasant to watch!

oh many teams are doing triple twist and scoring over 90 now...can they make it???? fingers crossed.

Wish more people would use that music. Vangelis music is just made for skating!!!

The Estonians might have had a "Conquest of Paradise", but I don't know how they didn't have a conquest over the competition so far!!!

Just shows how much the little mistakes that sequinsgalore has highlighted can cost when you add them all together.

The Austrians just managed to bump off the North Koreans but they are now at the mercy of the stronger British and Japanese couples.
Now both Ukrainian and Estonian Pairs have qualified for Sochi!

"I Dreamed A Dream"...

Well, I'm afraid that it looks like the Olympic dream isn't going to come true in 2014 for Narumi and Ryuichi.

It's a real pity that this enforced change of partner happened so late in the Olympic cycle. Even just one more year together would have made a big difference.

But, hopefully the dream will come true for Mervin and Natasha.

Ouch, got fifth place... Japan will not have a spot at Sochi.

OOH NOOO!!! The Japanese pair bombed :(
They now slip into fifth and won't be going to Sochi. Now Japan needs the Reeds to qualify in order to do the team event.

So in the end, the four qualifying nations for the pairs event are- Great Britain, Estonia, Ukraine and Israel.
