Isabeau's dress is very nice.
Her weird technique reminds me a bit of Sasha Cohen.

She is literally the best 1st half of the free program skater in the world

oh no, Amber's wincing and holding her back as she gets up... that was a really good skate from her save for the last loop, but she's had back issues for a while now and it looks like they're still plaguing her

Glenn was very solid. Just a fall on a second half 3Lo. She’s done very well to work on her issues that come about on the last half of her programs.

Amber Loops are tricky but it was very solid. Her 3axels are crazy consistent. She run out of steam at the end so I think her PCS should be a bit lower than Mone's as she got a bit messy. Anyway, good starting point for her.

Shin's still struggling. Glenn should win this match up, imo

It’s important that Amber pace her season better than she did last season. You want to look like an Olympic/World Champion in February and March, not November and December.

Jia messed but this program is so beautiful

Shin Jia gave up too many points to take the gold. She should still be on the podium. Her SP is divine, but I don’t like her free much. This is a nice step up from her difficulties last season.

Jia's skating is to die for. She has an amazing flow and lightness at the same time. Emotionally she's not very engaging yet, she looks a bit resereved on ice. I wish she could add some personal charisma in the (very bright) future.

Jia is such a beautiful skater, but that's it - she specializes in delicate and beautiful.
