I just think she's too awkward and lanky right now in her presentation. She has the potential for incredible skating lines given her body type, but right now it's just not coming together for me. Maybe more maturity is needed?

All I want for Ladies SP is faultless two programs to my favourites Carolina and Ashley.
Afterward, I hope there will be an edge call for Yulia's lutz this time.
Look like all eyes on Yu-Na and Yulia.This is a little bit irritating but there is a lot of reasons I know.Yulia has great jumps but I don't think she is deserving the title like Carolina, Mao, Akiko and maybe even Ashley.Actually, I wanna see a new Olympic champion but if Yulia will be the new champion, I wanna see Yu-Na to take the gold for the second time.
Akiko, Jenna, Zijun, Elene, Valentina and Gracie.I love this ladies too.Jenna deserves a free skate at least after all I think.

I do want to see clean SPs from Mao and Yuna. Mao because I really want her to skate without regret in these games, Yuna because I really want to see that "Send in the Clowns" program in its best form.

Man I really hope Mao makes y'all eat your words when she gets 78 for her SP!
Get ready for the letdown.Everybody knows this is not gonna happen.With a clean SP -this is not even certain- maybe she can get 74.

fine then, i'll settle for 73 while Julia trots behind with her 71
Maturity can and will come later.
Because of her age and the whirlwind experience she is going through since being selected,
I don't think she is fully comprehending the situation she is in as of now, which is PERFECT!
I just hope she skates her heart out and enjoy herself.

Hope Kaetlyn is rewarded if she skates well as in the team. She is so early on. Kostner too in the team competition should have won the short program. Just beautiful. Hope she is rewarded properly against Yulia's marks.

According to me, Julia's max. SP score should be like 67.But I'm sure she is gonna get huge scores tonight.
Mao did a clean SP in Vancouver. If experience counts at all, she may know a thing or two.

I agree. I want her fairly marked but come on... She is one of three skaters doing the hardest content, other than Kim and Mao. And her programs are Olympic medal worthy... Gold medal worthy if the others falter and she skates clean with maxed out content.

Unfortunately she is neither a popular one like Mao/Kim/Kostner, nor a Russian who will get automatic 32+ PCS. A clean skate would be great though and should put her in top 8.
So, have people forgotten Vancouver? She landed TWO!!! In Competition! In the same program!
Another thing I've noticed is that people seem to think that the high level of competition we saw in Vancouver is typical. It's not - you very rarely get perfect performances, particularly not from all the top skaters. I was so excited last Olympics because it was so unusual. It's not the norm. This whole skate of your life business, it's just setting the stage to get disappointed. The only skater I've sen this season who has been super consistent is Julia/Yulia. While everyone (casual views) have been going ga-ga and calling her a star, I haven't seen anything different from her than the rest of the season. A good thing I guess but there was nothing at all surprising or WOW for me.

You can't understand all the hate towards Lipnitskaia but you can get Yulia's arrogance, right ? I think her behaviors are funny but come on she is just 15.She should be more modest.
Ok it's almost time! I hope all the ladies have a great skate and they all make fans proud! I pray that the more mature ladies win this. I will be so happy is Yuna, Mao ( I would love it if she won too ) and Carolina show us all how it's done.
