just for the record: there are actually still people who are not aware of this kind of thingme and some friends once attended a lecture about pop culture and fandoms - and I pretty much had to translate for them. the professor kept talking about different aspects of fan fiction culture and just assumed that everybody was familiar with it... well, they weren't, but they were pretty shocked when I tried to explain things in a short and direct manner (it was pretty funny, actually)... and my friends don't exactly live in a convent either.
(note: I'm not saying that Yuzuru is like this. I'm just making a point.)
Yep there are many many many people out there who are not aware of this, especially those who are unfamiliar with pop cultures and fandoms. I think Yuzu surely knows about yaoi and doujinshi
however, I glad he doesn't have any social network account. I saw many fangirls sent yaoi-related stuffs to artists (and their friends) Twitter acc
. It'd better if they keep it within the fandom imo.
