Champs Camp is performance based. Athletes perform their short program and free skate programs (ice dancing teams: short and free dances) in a simulated competition environment. The camp also included technical feedback sessions, pre-participation physical exams, mental training sessions and nutrition seminars. Primary coaches of an athlete assigned to a 2014 Grand Prix Series event are required to attend.

I hope for some things:

- a ShibSibs video!

- Jason to once again ignore the recommendations about his long program (last year, these morons told him Riverdance was no good and to ditch it!)

- Someone to tell Max to cut his hair

Me too. I'm very curious about them.

What's the problem with the LP?

What's the problem with the LP?

I don't there is one. I am just saying that last year, the officials at champs camp didn't like Riverdance and wanted him to change it. So with that in mind, I hope that this year he ignores everything they might say :p

Ah ok. For a moment I though there was a problem.
Did I read somewhere he was going to change the music or I'm confusing him with somebody else?

He is skating to different music this year than Riverdance if that is what you are saying. Basically many like karne feel they sorta missed the mark on scoffing at Riverdance.

No, I know that. I thought he was changing the music of his new program.
I can't remember now which music he's using. But I must've confused him with somebody else though.

Jason's new LP is Tristan et Iseult and the SP is Juke. He hasn't changed anything. I think maybe you mixed him up with Yulia who is changing her program? There are so many threads sometimes it is easy to forget which thread you're in :p

Don't you worry. Even you can't confuse Yulia with a boy. :p

No, it was a discussion on Italian group on FB. We were discussing about men new programs.
Anyway, it's not important, but when you mentioned the thing about not listening the others, I thought it was him.

Well both are known for flexibility. . . both start with a J first name, one last name is the second letter of the alphabet, the other is the second to last, they both skate with pony tails. . . i mean, how can anyone tell them apart!

Yulia is definitely not a boy. She is beautiful.

Also, Jason smiles more. :p

Jason is not very good looking to me but when he smiles he looks like he's having the best day of his life, very endearing

anyway I look forward to hearing about Ashley Wagner, I hope she does well this season

... If you have any news please share.

Last night's keynote speaker was Team USA sled hockey's Andy Yohe, who brought home gold medals from the past two Paralympic Games. He also captained the Sochi team.

Agree re a ShibSibs video.

I know that you love Max, but gotta disagree about his hair. I thought his longer curls suited last season's programs just fine , and I missed them :ohwell: when he showed up with shorter hair late in the season.

(If Champs Camp leads to any hair change, I hope that it will be the return of Gracie Gold's braids. :))

Jason is not very good looking to me but when he smiles he looks like he's having the best day of his life, very endearing ...

And Jason looks just fine too, with or without  his terrific smile.

LOL, a bit of harmless confusion re the initials of JB and JL/YL.

Well, if you put it like that...maybe you're right. :)

Karne, are you ok?! Saying something nice about Yulia? I don't recognize you anymore.

Also, Jason smiles more. :p

True. Let's say, they compensate each other. :p

Didn't do well enough at her one JGP event (had injury issues) and was 9th at Nationals. The lowest automatic envelope qualifier ranking is 8th for Envelope C- Tier 2.

Yeah. It really stinks for her, to be honest. Doesn't look like she's going to get an early Senior B, either. Hope they'll consider her for a later one...
