2025 Skate to Milano Rhythm Dance

Ricky's back!

Out of sync on the second set of Twizzles. First set perfect.

Nice choreography at the start of the chorus.

Sorry for going quiet, but I was just so engrossed in that.

Really rough edit when "Living La Vida Loca" came in.

I said during the Warm-Up that they were really going for it. And that was definitely still the case during the programme.

They look so happy. Sara and Kirill trying to look serious. Sara gives in and smiles.

They go into 2nd position.

:cheer: WELL DONE SOFÍA AND ASAF!!! :cheer:

I'm tiiiired... so perhaps this is unfair but couldn't help thinking this program was everything I haven't been enjoying about dance this quad. They could've been skating to absolutely anything for most of that, and it was choreographically interchangeable with many other programs. They did sell it, but I wasn't buying.

I cannot believe what I just watched.

That was not my taste at all. The music was bad. The costumes were bad.

But, you could see that they were really enjoying themselves.

Why has Barbara been put in a wee box in the corner during the highlights?! She is the main course and should be in the big box!

They go into 4th position.

I want a venga boys, we like to party program. Is anyone doing that?

I'm nearly sure I have seen "We Like To Party" being skated to.

Yep, just checked the programmes thread. Gabriela Palomeque & Tanner White (ECU) are using it.

But, they have only done Lake Placid so far, and I didn't see any of it. So maybe I am imagining that I saw one.

Tell the commentators not to give us any reason to complain, then.

They are normally very balanced in what they say in their commentary. So this is strange.

It's too early in the morning to be listening to propaganda.

I don't want to start a discussion, and I don't have anything against you, but maybe we should leave it to actual athletes to decide if the Olympics are something special.

Big multi-sports events, especially with the kind of worldwide and (sports) boundaries-surpassing coverage and reach of the Olympics, are an entirely different experience, even for spectators, and there are not very many of them not under the Olympic umbrella. It's not for nothing that there are movements in certain non-Olympic sports pushing for Olympic inclusion started by actual athletes in those sports.
