He's talked about how training with Eteri is like a fountain of youth since the other skaters are all so much younger. In fact, I think he referred to himself as "Benjamin Button" in one interview. Not only does he seem more vibrant there, but his packaging improved, hair...pretty much everything.

AFAIK, the only time he may have used it in international competition would have been the 2011 Winter Universiade. Of course there are videos for his FS and gala from the Universiade, but none for the SP that I could find.
Also, at 2012 Worlds he used a different SP, "Artsakh" by Ara Gevorgyan. I don't know offhand if he skated this SP anywhere else.
