Wish Wakaba would do the 3 jump combo with the loop or salchow. She's losing a lot of GOE by doing it with the flip.

I agree with you. I wonder if this is some type of strange mind game strategy like do it right or lose out on points or if her team really doesn't think she has a high chance of lipping.
It'd be such a shame to see her lose out on a medal bc of the 3 jump combo on the 3F

Tohoku Hokkaido regionals
http://www.jsfresults.com/National/2015-2016/fs_e/block1/index.htm

Haruka Imai won senior ladies with 154+ points.
Apparently she is attempting 7 triples in the FS. She has nothing to lose now and needs extra efforts to survive. Obviously she can't manage such a content at this point

Chu-Shikoku Kyushu regionals

Hina Takeno won junior ladies with two clean programs (167+ points). Quite impressive! She is one of not so many Japanese ladies who have clean edges on lutz and flip. She needs any of 3-3s to be more competitive.

Koshiro Shimada went for the 3A for the first time (3A<< two foot).

I was sad about Koshiro's poor score in the FS but I'm glad he went for the 3A for the first time, he really had nothing to lose.

Matsubara SP:3F! 3S-3T 2A fell on LSp, FS: 3Lo 3F 3Lz 2A-3T-2T 3S-2T 3S-3T 2A

Aoki still has problems with the FS but she nailed 2A-3T for the first time. As for Higuchi, I thought this was a good place for trying the 3A...

Who's Yuhana Yokoi?

Yuhana Yokoi (born in 2000/5/19, 15 yr old) is from the same club (Howa) with Akiko, Rika, Rin Nitaya and others. She was competing in JGP last season (the JGP Nagoya TV cup) but not assigned to any international competition yet this season. Her scores from JGP Japan 2014/PB is SP-50.92; FP- 97.30(6)
I think her programs this season is choreographed by Akiko.
